5 Things to Do This Week while RVing
September 30th, 2020
Hi All!
Here is your Weekly Dose of “5 Things to Do This Week” while RVing.
What Decor to change in your RV — Add a Green Wreath to your Door
With little space to place decorations in most RVs, this Green Wreath is just the thing to cozy up the entrance. I crochet 🧶a lot of large things but when it comes Fall 🍁 I like to crochet small pumpkins, leaves, 🍂 acorns and wheat to attach to the green wreath and then do something similar for winter. I’ve tried brown grapevine wreaths before but I don’t get the same feel as the green ones.
What Essential Item to look for on Amazon — Multi-tools that fits in the glove compartment 🛠️
So I’m sure you’ve had the same experience… pulling into a campsite after driving a long ways and not being able to get the sewer cap off… Ugh. That’s why I’m looking for a multi-tool 🛠️ that has all of the tools we need that fits in the glove compartment box. I tried to put together a few tools I thought we would need but, inevitably, they get pushed to the back of the storage bin when we are loading up. I HATE having to unload everything in order to get hooked up.
What Recipe You’ll Die to Make — Electric Skillet Spiced-Sugar Doughnuts 🍩
OMG! My head is telling me I need to test these out (BEFORE) going in the RV. These Spiced-Sugar Doughnuts 🍩 are irresistible and WAY TOO EASY to make using Pillsbury biscuits, some cooking oil and your electric skillet.
What Book you Need to Read — The Lost Art of Reading Nature’s Signs
Growing up on a farm 🌽in Ohio, I thought I learned a lot about nature and how it provided us clues about planting. My dad would judge our corn 🌽 crop’s progress by saying the corn 🌽“should be knee-high by the 4th of July”! But after starting to read The Lost Art of Reading Nature’s Signs, I realized how little I actually knew.
What you Really Need to Learn — How to Build Your Campfire 🔥
The fires 🔥presently burning throughout the western United States are devastating. Did you know that 87% of fires 🔥are started by humans according to Smokey the Bear. 🐻 Probably a good time to re-read how to build our campfire 🔥safely.
P.S. What I really want you to do — Learn a new job skill 🤹🏽
I have always worked independently and have always had multiple ways to make a living. 🤹🏽With the pandemic, I have had long conversations with friends who only know how to make a living doing 1 thing and are presently on unemployment waiting to hear if they will be rehired. It’s time to learn a new job skill or two so that when we come out of this emotional, economic life change, you will be ready to add new streams of income. Here are a few suggestions I have that do not require a lot of time or money but will generate a substantial new source of income for you and/or your family.
